MINUTES FROM MEETING 2ND MARCH, 2010
MEETING OPENED 7.36 PM

BUSINESS ARISING: The internet account has now been set up.
CORRESPONDENCE IN:
1. Letter from Westpac Bank confirming internet account and showing us the online banking method.
2. Flyer re Mansfield Rod Run on 16th-18th April, includes Observation Run to Jamiesons Brewery on Saturday and Sunday Show & Shine.

GENERAL BUSINESS:
The Barellan Antique fair show n shine & swap meet at the Barellan show ground will be on Sunday the 28th march only
Saturday 27th is 4 swap set up only
The club will be cruising out early on Sunday Morning . Meet at Plane at 8.00am for an 8.15 am cruise off
Those of you looking for swap bargains can go out earlier if u want it opens at 6.00am
Suggestions for Future Runs:
1. Lake Cargelligo to Hillston along River – all tar road.
2. Morundah Pub for lunch, suggested for early May. Greg has checked catering availability with the Pub and we will going there on Sunday the 16th May please let Greg know if your coming as we must respect the cooks and advise of numbers as it gets closer to that date.It’s a great meal that the pub puts on.
Member Profiles:
It was suggested members may like to profile their vehicles for inclusion with the Newsletters. If interested, members can fill in details on the attached sheet, and take to the next meeting, along with a photo of their car.
Member Presentations:
It was also suggested that members may like to make a presentation at meetings showing what they have done, or are doing, to their car, including photo sheets, etc.
White board at meetings:
A suggestion was made that we ask the Leagues Club for use of a whiteboard, which could be made available at meetings for members to note any parts, etc, they are looking for. These requests could then be also included with the newsletter.
NEW MEMBERS:
Tony Cunial will be joining the Club bringing along his 1980 XJS Jag. Membership will then be 114.
RUNS ATTENDED:
The Jerilderie Ned Kelly Run was a great day out. The parade was well patronised – there were 80 odd cars and approximately 20 bikes, also vintage tractors and drag tractors. We had eight of our Club attend with David Armanini in his HR ute; Glenn & Joe Cadorin and girls in the ’66 Chevy Impala; Greg, Vallie and Fabian Salvestro in the ’38 rod; Neil & Deci McNabb in their 40th GT; Rob and Sandy Kay in the ZD Fairlane; John & Dee Favero in the XR Falcon; Paul Carusi in his XR Fairmont; and Renzo & Gloris Manente in their BF Cobra. There was plenty of nostalgia stuff to see, great eating places and the mini train ride was a real treat for the kids...even the big ones! It was a great venue along the lake foreshore and there was also an entertaining display by a remote control hydroplane.
EVENTS:
- Carrathool Races on 6th March.
- Barellan Swap Meet on 28th March.
- Greg will confirm details with Griffith Aero Club re the National Fly-in Day to be held on 24th & 25th April and advise next meeting.
- Blake Raworth and Jim Krzus have previously volunteered to organise an Observation Run for a date to be set. Greg will check progress on this and advise the next meeting.
